Concrete Sealer
WIL-SEAL 301
Acrylic Seal and Cure
WIL-SEAL is a sealing, curing, hardening and dustproofing compound. WIL-SEAL complies with specifications ASTM - 309. WIL-SEAL produces the wet look and can be used on exposed aggregate.
WIL-SEAL is a ready-to-use, non-yellowing, liquid membrane which restricts evaporation of hydration water and assures maximum concrete hardness. WIL-SEAL effectively seals out construction stains and resists most alkalies, aliphatic solvents, mineral, vegetable and animal oils, soap, detergents, water and traffic abrasion.
Apply one or two coats of WIL-SEAL to give aged concrete a new bright look. Excellent results are obtained in restoration work when WIL-SEAL is applied to existing concrete, masonry, or aggregate surfaces. Aged concrete floors, cleared of dirt and prior coatings, coated with WIL-SEAL resist staining and yellowing and show a new brightness and luster. Cleaning and maintenance is easier due to the stain resistance of WIL-SEAL. The color of old or new exposed aggregate is enhanced and sealed in with WIL-SEAL. It cures and seals fresh concrete in one application.
Abrasion resistance makes WIL-SEAL an excellent finish coat for floors in residences, institutions, and industry. It provides a durable surface in schools, offices, hospitals, warehouses, industrial buildings and apartments, protecting against abrasion from both foot traffic and wheeled carts or hand trucks. In addition, WIL-SEAL is compatible with most adhesives use to apply carpet or tile.
Coverage is approximately 200 to 300 square feet per gallon. Use additional coats to get a wet look.
Application can be by spray, soft-bristle push broom or lamb's wool applicator. WIL-SEAL should be applied to freshly poured concrete when moisture sheen disappears (approximately one to two hours). A final coat should be applied when the total project has been completed. Surface should be free of foreign matter.
All tools and equipment should be cleaned as soon as possible with WIL-CLEAN solvent orxylol. WIL-SEAL is flammable. Use with caution. Allow 28 days curing time before applying adhesives.
LIMITATIONS: WIL-SEAL should not be used to fill cracks or surface defects in concrete. It cannot be applied when there is standing water on the surface - damp concrete is acceptable. Do not use as a release agent or undercoat for cement overlays or additional sealers.
COMPOSITION AND MATERIALS: A clear, non-yellowing liquid, WIL-SEAL is an acrylate base polymer compound. It is formulated to spray or brush on concrete or masonry for sealing, curing and dustproofing. Caution - combustible mixture which must be kept away from any open flame, spark or heat. Flash point of 60 Degrees Fahrenheit.
NON-SLIP: Mr. Concrete's SureGrip Slip Resistant Additive is a micronoized polymer, which creates a textured surface without irritating sharp edges. The lightweight, clear spheres suspend easily in Mr. Concrete's products.
